Mae Bespoke is more and means more, than simply selling my jewellery.
For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by rocks. At school fetes, I always gravitated towards the gem and rock stands. The smooth, cool surface of the rocks under my fingers felt solid, steady and calming.
Mae Bespoke was forged from a mixture of challenges, triumphs, joy and a return to myself. A deep unyielding expression and passion to use my voice through creating individual pieces, where I wouldn’t know what they would look like until the end. It is the unique bringing together of different coloured stones that inspire me, and working to discover the finished piece waiting within them. Each piece is a journey, a challenge and a statement of love, gratitude and joy.
You see, sometimes life and love need a way out, a voice and a belief that whatever you are experiencing can, and will, create something beautiful.
We don’t believe in fast fashion, most of the time there will be only one of each piece. To me, Mae Bespoke is all about individuality and not compromising uniqueness for the sake of demand.
